Track map for Södertälje

This map covers the line from Älvsjö in Stockholm to Södertälje. Until Flemingsberg the two outer tracks are used by "fast" trains and the two middle tracks for "slow" trains. A new line for long-distance trains from Flemingsberg to Järna via a new passenger station Södertälje Syd opened somewhen around 1990 - since then the Flemingsberg-Södertälje line shown here is only used by "pendeltåg" commuter trains (and freight?).

There's plenty of space for extension of the map. I hope somewhen to get the time to extend with the new and old lines to Järna (or beyond towards Katrineholm or Nyköping), and there's also a line towards Eskilstuna which branches of from Södertälje Hamn / Södertälje Syd.

There would have been a map of Södertälje Hamn here if it had not started to rain just as I had taken out my sketchbook and my binoculars.
